Workshops...
Several years ago we set out to develop
a comprehensive series of workshops on interpersonal
influence and business communication that would be considered
preeminent in the market. Our premise was that there
were specific and identifiable competencies that were
held by those who were especially good in ‘connecting
with people™’ in demanding, stress filled
environments. We felt that if competency could be built
in three essential areas (with a corresponding shedding
of a number of common and counterproductive habits)
that people would gain great value.
What we discovered through our research
is that the single greatest influence in establishing
and sustaining our effectiveness interpersonally is
the views that we hold—either of ourselves or
of others. The truth is we often unknowingly sabotage
our relationships with others through the way we
view people. It is also the premise of our forthcoming
book, due out 4th quarter 2004. This powerful principle
is revealed, along with other skills and awareness
building exercises, in our Level 4™ Influence
and Communication Series. The Series is comprised
of three workshops that build and compliment each
other and are based on three important competencies.
Level 4™ Influence
and Communication Series
-
Overcoming Predisposed Views and Natural Instincts
in Developing Greater Personal Power and Influence.
- OK…NOW What Do I
Do?
Managing Strategic Moments in Our Conversations.
- Ask a Better Question…..Get
a Better Answer
The Power of Questions. (Available 4th Quarter
2004)
Also, we routinely provide custom
workshops for leaders and managers that are targeted
to many of the unique and difficult responsibilities
they have. Most of these workshops are designed to help
the leader ‘connect’ better to individuals
and to the organization as a whole. These workshops
compliment our organizational consulting services. Listed
below are examples of some of the topical areas for
custom workshops.
